What is aquamation? It is an eco-friendly cremation process. It uses water instead of fire, and gives families another option what it comes to a funeral service for their loved one. With aquamation, families still receive remains back where they are able to place their loved one in an urn, have a scattering or burial service, or have any keepsake items they may want.
The first aquamation machine was brought to the state of Alabama in April of 2021. The service is available to anyone in the state, and surrounding areas. Families can use their local funeral home and have their director contact Alabama Aquamations to be able to have an aquamation for their loved one.
